"I'm both honoured and humbled by the appointment"

THE University of Lincoln has appointed Jon Grubb as a Visiting Senior Fellow to the Faculty of Business and Law.
It is the second honour bestowed on Jon, who is already a Visiting Fellow to the Faculty of Media, Humanities and Performance.
Jon was appointed by a professional committee of the University and is one of only a handful of people to hold two Visiting Fellow posts at the University.
“We award Visiting Professorships to individuals of national academic or professional standing, whose association with a department or faculty of the university will provide the highest possible source of advice and wise counsel in that discipline nationally and internationally,” said senior vice chancellor Andrew Atherton.
“I’m both honoured and humbled by the appointment and to be recognised by two faculties at the university is really exciting,” said Jon.
“The university has already made a huge difference to the cultural, business and economic success of the city and I am proud that I can play my part in continuing that growth.”
Jon, who started his new media consultancy business Grubb Street Media last year, is also chairman of Lincoln Book Festival, a lay governor at Lincoln College, part of the Lincolnshire Business Convention organising committee and a member of the Lincoln Cathedral business advisory group.
