Award-winning journalist Jon Grubb is the owner and managing director of Grubb Street Media and has worked in the media industry for 22 years.

His experience in newspapers has given him an unrivalled network of contacts in the regional press as well as close associations in the national media together with an unparalleled understanding of how they work.

His career has included time in newspapers in Buckinghamshire, Gloucester and Nottingham. For the last ten years he has been an Editor on Lincolnshire newspapers both in Scunthorpe and latterly in Lincoln.

During the seven years editing the then-daily Lincolnshire Echo, the paper accrued a number of national and regional press awards and accolades for its design and content as well as nominations for individual reporters.

He is a regular contributor to local radio and has been interviewed for both local and national television.

Jon’s skills in PR, marketing, media training, public speaking and creative thinking have been sought after since he has occupied the Editor’s Chair at the Echo. He continues to be invited to participate in a variety of county organisations.

Now he is using his knowledge and understanding of the industry to help these and other organisations and businesses to raise their profile locally, regionally and nationally.

His network of contacts and involvement in the community also help his clients connect with the right people or the right business opportunity at the right time.

As the former Chairman of Visit Lincolnshire he also has a wide knowledge of the County, its people, geography and visitor economy.

Having grown up in Lincolnshire, Jon is passionate about the county and believes there are many companies and organisations that have much to shout about but little idea of how to shout or to whom.
