One of Europe’s largest antique centres has joined Grubb Street Media’s growing list of clients.
Hemswell Antique Centres houses items from around 300 dealers from the UK, France, Australia, Ireland and Spain in its three buildings at the former RAF base.
The centres, the first of which opened in 1986, attracts nearly 4,000 visitors a week and was recently nominated as the best antique centre in the UK by the BBC Homes and Antiques Magazine.
The business employs more than 25 people and has an annual turnover of £5 million.
It has a thriving website attracting 18,000 unique visitors a month and a recently launched phone app is helping the business achieve growing sales abroad.
Around 10% of its overall sales are now being done with dealers and buyers abroad.
It regularly hosts visits by groups of buyers from overseasand is enjoying a growing reputation with dealers from Japan.
